This RGB controller is designed for controlling any 5V, 12V or 24V RGB digitally addressable LED product.
Features include music-controlled modes that jump and change with the music signal input, colour changing modes without music (with speed control), and a full colour wheel to set any static colour you want.
This unit is supplied with an RF remote operating at 433MHz, with a range of 20m, a 1m 3.5mm barrel jack audio signal cable, and wall mounting cradle for the remote control.
This controller remembers its last setting, even when power is switched off to the unit, so that it can be used with a wall switch.
There are quite a few different ICs used in digital LED products. However, the common ones, such as WS2811, UCS1903 and SH1908, all have very similar data protocols and are therefore compatible. In order to control a digital LED product containing any of these ICs, set the controller to the ‘1903’ IC setting.
The length of the product that can be controlled is limited to 1000 ICs, and the digital addressable product is powered separately, rather than through the controller. This only outputs a digital signal to the LED product instead, and therefore the size and type of the power supplies used are determined by the LED product, and not the controller.
- 27 music programme modes
- 14 non-music modes
- Speed adjustment
- Colour selection
