This wireless controller (receiver) has so many options for control that it really does deserve it's name of Universal! It can be used to control any single-colour or multi-colour 12V, 24V, 36V or 48V LED product, such as our strip light.
It has 5 output channels, and can run up to 30A at 12V/24V (6A max per channel), or 20A at 36V/48V (4A max per channel); these channels can be used to control:
- One output set of RGB + WW + CW product, or
- One output set of RGB + White (either WW or CW) product, or
- One output set of RGB product, or
- Two output sets of CCT Colour Products Simultaneously, or
The output type (above) is set using the DIP Switches located in the input end of the unit.
This product needs to be accompanied by either one of our 1-Zone or 4-Zone RGB or Dimmer Wheel RF Remote Controls, or our RF/DMX Wall Plates, or through WiFi via the Tuya App (available for both Apple and Android). It can be matched with up to 10 remotes if required. If using a multi-zone remote, you will need at least one controller for each zone you wish to run, but one remote will operate them all. You can program multiple controllers to the same zone.
Matching is very easy with a single button press on this controller base and the chosen remote/zone - please see the Supporting Info tab for instructions for use, including how to match a remote to a controller.
Because these are wireless, you do not need to run signal wires between areas if you are using more than one controller. The controllers re-transmit the signal to neighbouring controllers within 30m distance. You can run products of a different voltage (e.g. 12V and 24V products) from the same remote with multiple controllers.
It will remember the last setting when powered off, even after experiencing a period of power loss. This is so it can be used with a wall switch if needed.
