The high-quality UV LED lamp beads emit a small half-wave width with real peak wavelength of 365nm; a more effective spectrum that emits less interference and stray “purple” light.
The torch itself has a high-quality aviation grade aluminium 6061 T6 body with anodized grey scratch resistant surface, 1.5m drop resistant and is IPX7 weather resistant, it is well-designed with solid construction. three high-quality UV LED lamp beads are used to create a UV effective radiation intensity up to 1500mW/cm2, and UV effective distance up to 2 meters (with a radiation intensity at 1 meter is as high as 4mW/cm2).

Other UV lights with peak wavelengths of 385nm or 395nm will appear brighter, that is due to more visible spectrum, not ultraviolet rays with application effects (for biological trace detection applications, it is necessary to focus on the UV effective radiation intensity value instead).
It is built with a three-in-one optical system design, creating a uniform light spot effect for better fluorescence excitation and larger detection range.
It is single mode on/off, with an anti-mistouch design to help prevent accidental activation – press and hold the power button to turn it on, and single press to turn off. The power button is also a battery indicator, with blue and red lights showing 4 levels of battery capacity, with up to 3 hours of runtime per charge.
