Spike Spotlight 12V - 10W

This LED outdoor garden light is a robust waterproof unit designed to be pushed into the ground where a spotlight is required to shine onto a feature or tree for example. The tilt angle is adjustable by loosening and tightening the screw that attaches the spike to the light.

The unit has 1x high power COB LED mounted inside a black powder-coated aluminium alloy that is waterproof IP67, and a high-strength polycarbonate lens face.

It has an additional lens that can be added to narrow the beam angle from 60 degrees to 30 degrees in order to convert it into a more direct, bright spot.

It also comes with 4 coloured filters, so you can choose what colour you want the light - Warm White/Yellow, Red, Green, or Blue. These are held in place by the hood supplied.

PLEASE NOTE:

This item contains a switch mode driver, which makes it more efficient and run at a constant brightness over a range of input voltages. However, this means it has an inrush current (draws extra power) for a brief period at start-up. This means that when running these from a power supply, you should double the calculated power when selecting a supply. For example, when running 3 of these from a 12V DC power supply, the power supply should be rated at 60W or more.

Also, any long lengths of cable powering these lights should be larger than normal to ensure correct power delivery.
