Sealed Lead Acid (SLA) batteries are commonly used in solar applications due to their compact size and ability to easily recharge from a solar circuit. These can be purchased separately as additional units to our solar setup kits if you wish to increase your storage capacity.
These Pro-Series batteries are designed for use in applications where constant power is required for extended lengths of time, and are excellent for use with standby power applications, lighting, alarms, computers, golf buggies, mobility scooters, wheel chairs and powered toys.
These can also be used without a solar system when needing to run some 12VDC lighting for a short period of time, such as for events, parties, and camping. They can then be recharged using a battery charger which are available from many vehicle battery and automotive supplies retailers.
