Sealed Lead Acid (SLA) batteries are commonly used in solar applications due to their compact size and ability to easily recharge from a solar circuit. These can be purchased separately as additional units to our solar setup kits if you wish to increase your storage capacity.
These Amp-Tech batteries are designed to go the distance and are the choice for remote operation over extended periods. They are a longer life, reliable battery for caravanning, camper trailers and motorhomes with and without solar applications.
These can also be used without a solar system when needing to run some 12VDC lighting for a short period of time, such as for events, parties, and camping. They can then be recharged using a battery charger which are available from many vehicle battery and automotive supplies retailers.
