This surface mounted reading light has a modern brushed steel finish and clear glass lens, which is stylish and modern in a range of applications. It has a touch sensor switch, and a small rectangular base. The head has a tilt range of 90°, and a rotational range of approximately 345°.
The first press on the touch button turns on a small blue night light around the button, to make it easy to locate in the dark, and the second touch turns on the main light. Touch and hold the button to dim the light (and the same to reverse the dimming) - the light will remember the dim setting when it is next switched on.
It has a 60° beam angle, and has a USB charge port so you can use it to charge mobile devices, making it ideal for placing beside beds or seating areas for reading. It draws only 1W of power and produces 115 lumens of nice Cool White light which is perfect for reading.

Installation is easy: simply screw the mounting bracket into place using the 16mm long screws supplied, then connect the power wires, followed by placing the light base over the bracket and fix using the single screw at the base of the fitting. The wires can be taken out through a small hole in the wall lining, and is covered by the light's base, leaving a clean finish. Simply wire up to any 12V or 24V DC source (such as a battery system) and enjoy glare free lighting.
