This is a constant voltage AC-DC power supply for powering LED lighting such as our 48V strip light. This DC power supply takes 230V mains and outputs a regulated 48V DC up to a maximum load of 360W (7.5A).
This is a dimmable supply with Triac Dimming technology on forward-phase (Leading edge). It can be used with our KIWI Electronics mains wall dimmer with no restrictions. It is not compatible with HPM dimmers.
The power supply itself is waterproof with an IP66 rating. The unit has 3-core flying wires out the mains input end, and 2-core flying wires out the 48V DC output end, and each are clearly labelled for wiring, however you must make sure that it is installed by a qualified electrician if hard-wiring in, so the mains connections are safe.
A power supply like this is required if you are dimming the lighting using a mains wall dimmer.
