This is a constant voltage AC-DC power supply for powering LED lighting such as our MR16 bulbs and strip light. This DC power supply takes 230V mains and outputs a regulated 24V DC up to a maximum load of 150W (6.25A).
The power supply itself is waterproof with an IP67 rating, however you must make sure that it is installed by a qualified electrician so the mains connections are safe. The unit comes with a 2-pin plug injection molded to the input wire, making installation easy, however you must make sure that it is installed by a qualified electrician if hard-wiring in, so the mains connections are safe.
A replacement supply like this is often required if you are substituting 24V halogen bulbs with LED bulbs, as halogens are usually run on AC, but most LEDs require DC.

This power supply is part of the Meanwell LPV series, which are ideal for residential applications. They are constructed with a plastic case, 2-wire input and 2-wire DC output. Most models come with bare wire leads for hard-wiring, except for the 100W, 120W and 150W models that come with a moulded 2-pin plug with 1m lead attached.
