This is a constant voltage AC-DC power supply for powering LED lighting such as our MR16 bulbs and strip light. This DC power supply takes 230V mains and outputs a regulated 24V DC up to a maximum load of 100W (4.17A).
The power supply is rated IP67 waterproof and is suitable for outdoor use.
A replacement supply like this is often required if you are substituting 24V halogen bulbs with LED bulbs, as halogens are usually run on AC, but most LEDs require DC.
