This is a constant voltage AC-DC power supply for driving LED lighting such as our MR16 bulbs and strip light. This supply takes 230V mains and outputs a regulated 24V DC up to a maximum load of 80W (3.3A).
The power supply itself is waterproof with an IP67 rating, however you must make sure that it is installed by a qualified electrician so the mains connections are safe. The unit has flying wires out each end and is clearly labelled for wiring.
A replacement supply like this is often required if you are substituting 24V halogen bulbs with LED bulbs, as halogens are usually run on AC, but most LEDs require DC.
