This is a constant voltage AC-DC power supply for powering LED lighting such as our MR16 bulbs and strip light. This DC power supply takes 230V mains and outputs a regulated 24V DC up to a maximum load of 60W (2.5A).
Now with 1.2m lead and 2-pin Mains Plug!
This lead is installed into the mains supply screw terminals, so can be easily removed for hard-wiring installations.
The power supply itself is non-waterproof. The unit has screw terminals at each end and is clearly labelled for wiring.
A replacement supply like this is often required if you are substituting 24V halogen bulbs with LED bulbs, as halogens are usually run on AC, but most LEDs require DC.
Please read installation instructions fully before attempting any work.
This power supply is for indoor use only. However, you can run the 24V side outside: 24V is a safe voltage to run outdoors.
