Power Supply 12V 8.5A 100W - Meanwell LPV Series (Only 11 remaining)

This is a constant voltage AC-DC power supply for powering LED lighting such as our MR16 bulbs and strip light. This DC power supply takes 230V mains and outputs a regulated 12V DC up to a maximum load of 100W (8.5A).

The power supply itself is waterproof with an IP67 rating, however you must make sure that it is installed by a qualified electrician so the mains connections are safe. The unit has flying wires at the output end, and a 2-pin plug at the input end - it is clearly labelled for wiring.

A replacement supply like this is often required if you are substituting 24V halogen bulbs with LED bulbs, as halogens are usually run on AC, but most LEDs require DC.

This power supply is part of the Meanwell LPV series, which are ideal for residential applications. They are constructed with a plastic case, 2-wire input and 2-wire DC output. Most models come with bare wire leads for hard-wiring, except for the 100W, 120W and 150W models that come with a moulded 2-pin plug with 1m lead attached.
