This high-power LED bulb comes with a MR16 fitting for easy connection to an industry standard MR16 socket. It is constructed with three high power 1W LEDs giving superior power savings for the same light output, and lower operating temperatures. The bulb emits most of the light within a narrow 15 degree beam angle so it is an ideal light for night riding when you need to see a good distance ahead. The bulb is equivalent to a 25W halogen in brightness.
These bulbs have been popular amongst mountain bikers who often run a setup that includes a sealed lead acid battery pack. This LED bulb allows them to ride with a lighter, smaller battery pack and even run for a much longer time between charges.
