This mini in-line dimmer/controller is designed for controlling resistor-based LED products, such as our single colour strip light. It is capable of driving up to 3A, so it can run up to 36W of lighting at 12V DC and 72W at 24V DC.
The controller comes with an RF key card remote which takes 1x CR2025 button cell battery (included). The unit will remember its last setting, even after loss of power. Upon powering up from the power source (not the on/off function from the remote), the lights will flash briefly once to indicate that power is connected. Then the remote can then be used to turn it on and off.
It has 8 dynamic modes which are various sequences of flashing and fading. The LIGHT button returns to static lighting mode from any dynamic mode. Use either the BRIGHT+/- or the 100/50/25% buttons to adjust the brightness level. Press MODE+/- to cycle through the 8 dynamic modes, and adjust the speed of these modes using the SPEED+/- keys.
If using one remote for multiple controllers, use the following instructions to pair the controllers as needed:
- To pair the remote to the controller/strip, power on and within 5 seconds short press the SPEED+ and SPEED- buttons together. The lights will flash white to show the pairing has been successful
- There is no unpairing function, but you can pair a controller with another remote to undo the first pairing
