When you replace your indicator bulbs with efficient LED bulbs, your indicator can hyper flash at a much faster rate. This normally indicates a blown bulb; however, in this case it is due to the reduced current draw from the LED bulbs.
This load resistor can be added across your indicator bulbs to simulate a normal load and return your indicator to a standard flash rate. A load resistor is used when replacing the indicator relay is impractical.
