This is a quality headlamp with a great range of modes. It has an output of 800 lumens on the highest setting. Push the on/off button at the top of the unit to switch between the 8 modes: 2 large XPE LEDs on bright, 2 outer XPE LEDs bright, 4 XPE LEDs, 4 XPE LEDs strobe. Then push and hold the power button to turn the small COB lights on bright, COB dim, COB red, COB red strobe. There is an additional red light on the battery pack itself - use the button on the pack to turn it on, change to strobe, then off again.
It will start to dim after being on the brightest mode (all 4 COB LEDs on) for 3 hours.
The unit is rated IP55 water-resistant, so you can use it out in the rain. It is tiltable so you can easily angle the light where it's needed.
It runs from 2x rechargeable 18650 batteries (included) in the back pack and the head strap will adjust to fit any size head. Charge the unit by plugging the USB cable (included) directly into the battery pack. You can purchase additional batteries here.
