This headlamp is IP68 rated, meaning it is protected from immersion in water up to and over 1m deep. It can be used for diving, caving, rafting, or other water activities.
The bright yellow colour makes it easier to locate if dropped, and the magnetic rotating switch makes it easy to operate with gloved hands. This also reduces the amount of possible water ingress points to the headlamp, and with the dual rubber seals and waterproof grease sealing the battery compartment, it has a robust waterproof design.
It has a narrow beam angle to throw the light a long distance and has 4 modes: bright, dim, strobe and SOS. Twist the switch to the right to turn it on and to change between the modes. Twist and hold to the right for two seconds to access SOS mode.
It will run for 3 hours on full brightness before it starts to dim, and will run for a total of 5 hours before it stops going.
The head strap is made from flexible rubber for added comfort and grip, and is adjustable to fit a range of head sizes. The rubber strap mount also allows easy rotation of the headlamp unit to set the lighting angle.
It runs from 3x AAA batteries (included).
