This LED flood light consumes only 20W, yet it can replace an 120W halogen flood light. It is capable of lighting up a small court, backyard or work bay. The run time is between 3 and 12 hours, depending on the brightness setting.
It is powered from an internal battery (7.4V, 8800 mAh), making it ideal for jobs where power is not available or running extension leads is not practical. You can recharge the battery from any car cigarette plug or mains power point (chargers included). It also comes complete with a stand, so it can sit on any flat surface.
This unit is dimmable with 3 brightness settings: 100%, 50% and 20%. Pressing the power button cycles through these settings, and holding the power button down for 2 seconds turns the unit off again. It also has a 5V USB charging output from the battery, so you can charge your USB devices on the go (note: this will reduce the battery charge and so the total work time on that charge cycle).
An LED lit battery indicator shows you the amount of charge remaining in the battery in 20% increments. When charging, this indicator flashes green then stays on solidly when charging is complete, which could take up to 5 hours. When the battery capacity drops below 10%, the battery indicator flashes red once per second, then twice per second when it drops below 5%.
The battery is removable, and we will have extra/spare batteries for sale in the future.
