This is a replacement for a standard 10mm screw base bulb (E10) and is constructed with 5 bright 5050 SMD LEDs which are durable, shockproof and long-lasting. It has 4 LEDs at 90 degrees to the axis so that light shines out the sides, as well as one facing out the end.
These bulbs must have the correct polarity to operate. They require positive on the tip and negative on the case.
