This CREE Q4 LED is mounted on a metal star PCB for easy heatsinking and has flying wires attached. Driven at 350mA, the LED has an output of 30 lumens while consuming 1.15W of power.
A heatsink may be required when running the LED. Typically when running above 350mA a heatsink is used, but this can depend on the application.
