Caravan Awning Light 12V 7W

Manufactured locally by LEDstuff, our awning light is a low-profile surface mounted light that is stylish and unobtrusive in a range of applications. They are the ideal way to light up the covered area outside your motorhome with a good bright light. It puts out 360 lumens, which is the equivalent of a 35W incandescent bulb. They are designed to install over your entrance door and simply wire straight into your existing outside light.

They are also ideal for lighting other damp areas such as kitchens and bathrooms.

Most motorhomes and caravans have their outdoor light next to the entrance to the door, and this has a drainage hole at the bottom, so it is easy to simply run the wire of the Awning light through this hole and wire into the existing light bulb fitting. This way both lights will operate from the same light switch simultaneously, and so turn on and off at the same time. If you also change the bulbs in your existing outside light to LED, then there is minimal draw on power while providing great outside lighting.

These lights can also be used for pull-out BBQs and step lights, or we can make them to other lengths if required. We can make these in 24V if required at no additional cost - please enquire. The awning light 500 is a 500mm long aluminium extrusion with our SL5050SCW waterproof strip light mounted inside, with 12VDC wires protruding from one end. Simply wire up to any 12V DC source (such as a 12V battery system) and enjoy glare free lighting. As the strip inside is waterproof, and the casing has a drainage hole there is no need to worry about rain or condensation.

All awning light and SlimLite models are supplied with a pair of mounting clips and non-slip pads for easy installation on just about any surface. These are also dimmable with our range of PWM dimmers.
