This automatic photo cell light sensor can be used to control 12-24VDC LED lighting in outdoor areas. It will automatically turn on at dusk and turn off again at dawn. There is no adjustment for the light levels, which are pre-set from the factory.
It is IP67 rated for outdoor use, and it is recommended to install this in protected areas, not in direct sunlight, but in areas that are shaded but bright.
The sensor can be used for 12VDC or 24VDC lighting, with a loading of up to 5 Amps (approx 60W @12VDC, or 120W @ 24VDC).
It comes with 2x stainless screws and nylon screw anchor fixings, and it has 950mm wire leads on the input and output. It has 2-pin water resistant plugs on the input and output, which are plug-n-play compatible with some of our other outdoor LED lighting range, such as the 3W spot, the 6W downwash bollard, the 2W eyelid wall light, and the mini wifi controller.
It is possible to use this sensor with any of our other low voltage outdoor lighting by removal of the plugs and creating a waterproof hard-wired connecton directly to the LED product (electrician help recommended - please note this does void the warranty on this product).
