This 1156 bulb is a part of our new Premium Automotive range, and is far superior in terms of brightness than our other 1156s.
This is our brightest 15mm bayonet bulb, and is great for use in caravans, motorhomes, boats or cars. It is a drop-in replacement for your current bulb and is constructed with 21 super bright SMD LEDs which are durable, shockproof and long-lasting.
Error-free bulbs simply contain built-in resistors that increase the power draw of the bulb in an attempt to prevent an error showing on the instrument cluster. Due to differences in the thresholds set by car manufacturers, we cannot guarantee that these bulbs will prevent an error in all makes and models. Note: This is a single filament, single contact bulb with evenly located pins, where the positive is on the contact on the bottom of the bulb, and the casing and locator pins of the bulb are the negative. The 1156 base requires positive to the bottom contact. If your socket is wired differently, it will not work, and you can fix this by swapping the wires to the socket.
