This is a non-waterproof AC-DC power supply for driving LED lighting such as our MR16 bulbs and strip light. This supply takes 230V mains and outputs a regulated 24V DC up to a maximum load of 45W (1.87A).
A replacement supply like this is often required if you are substituting 24V halogen bulbs with LED bulbs, as halogens are usually run on AC, but most LEDs require DC.
