This low-profile cabinet light is great for use inside a cupboard or drawer, or under cabinets over a bench. This is a great option if you need a light but powering it isn’t possible or practical, and it is ideal for use in motorhomes, caravans, boats, and sheds. It emits 100 lumens of bright white light and has a wide 180° spread of light.
It is constructed from aluminium and comes with a metal magnetising plate, 4x 9.5mm long stainless steel screws, and adhesive foam.
Installation is easy – simply install the metal magnetising plate in place either using the provided screws or double sided-adhesive, then ‘stick’ the light magnetically. This makes it so easy to take down to recharge when necessary.
It has 2 modes, ‘Hand’ and ‘Door’; set using the sliding switch at the end. The hand (H) mode allows you to use turn the light on and off manually – simply wave your hand within 100mm of the sensor to turn on or off. With the door (D) mode, the light stays on unless an object (i.e. cupboard door or drawer) is within 150mm of the sensor, which then makes it turn off – meaning it will be on when the cupboard/drawer is open.
It is USB rechargeable and comes with a short 25cm cable that plugs into any USB port. It takes approximately 4 hours to fully charge and will run for 4 hours continuously before it begins to flicker, indicating it is due to be charged again. A small red LED lights up while charging and will turn green once fully charged. You can purchase a wall adapter with USB port here for charging.
