I have replaced the nine GU10 halogens in my kitchen with these LEDs. I have found that although they aren't as bright in theory as the halogens, there is almost no side glare-so their light output is used extremely efficiently, the bench and floor surfaces are brighter than with the halogens, the light colour is almost as warm, and they fit nicely into the blue glass lenses, as they are only about 8mm longer than the halogens.
I give these 10 out of 10, especially as my kitchen lighting electricity consumption has been reduced from 450 watts to 32.4 watts, without loss of light quality. |
