| LEDstuff Community Support |
 |
|
The team at LEDstuff love to help out the community, so here you can see the various community projects and groups that we have helped out by providing extreemly cheap LED goodies, or through sponsorship etc. If you are a non-profit group that gives a lot to the community, and you would like our support, please contact us.
Pirates Squash Club - T-Shirt Sponsorship
Some of the LEDstuff team love to play squash, and are members of the Pirates Squash Club in Dunedin. When the time came to get team shirts for their 2009 season, they thought it would be a great opportunity to sponsor the production of the shirts. The shirts were sold to the teams, as well as many other members in the club, with all the proceeds going towards the coaching and development of young squash players in the area. Go Pirates!
Little River Fire Rescue - Emergency Services Cadets
This is a great group of cadets created by the awsome firefighters at the Little River Volunteer Fire Brigade in Canterbury. They have the backing of the NZ Fire Service, Civil Defence, Akaroa and Bays Lions, The Bloggs Trust, and the Christchurch City Council, and they educate the young cadets (aged 10-16 yrs) in community volunteer roles such as Fire Rescue, Rural Fire, Fire Safety, Civil Defence, First Aid, Bush Craft, and drill and discipline including leadership skills.
If you are interested in becomming a part of the group, or would like to help out in any way, contact them via their Facebook page here. |

Elizabeth Rusli
At the time Elizabeth was a year 12 student at Carmel College in Auckland and was designing some posters for her NCEA course. The theme was to promote the use of LED bulbs over traditional incandescent bulbs. You can see a sample of some of the posters she designed below, which look great.
